But we can clearly improve, or go in the other direction and really play to our strengths: being physical, playing direct and on the counter-attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe can choose one approach or the other. And there&#8217;s no single perfect way to win a football match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe can&#8217;t keep looking at other countries and trying to be like them, because we&#8217;re not them: we are English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe have our own qualities that they don&#8217;t have.
