United remain fully committed to Benjamin Ε eΕ‘ko, with Guirassy instead being considered as an experienced option should Joshua Zirkzee leave.
The 30-year-old has scored 64 goals in 102 appearances for Dortmund but the German club have no desire to sell Guirassy midway through the season.
